Build reliable, consistent performance that requires minimal maintenance.

1. Run all season without changing valve springs.
2. Hundreds of passes with no breakage.
3. Keep component costs as low as possible without violating #1 or #2.
How we do it:
1. Flat tappet CAMs. (Roller CAMs produce more power, but they stress the valve train.)
2. Moderate compression ratios.

3. High torque at lower RPM.
